Chemical Peels Cardiff
Controlled exfoliation, properly selected.
Professional chemical peels use carefully selected acids to exfoliate and resurface the outer layers of the skin. As those surface cells clear, natural cell renewal is supported and the skin beneath can look brighter, smoother and more even.

Peels vary in strength and purpose, so the specifics follow assessment.
Peels vary — which is why assessment comes first
Peels vary considerably in strength and in purpose. A peel chosen for congestion is not the same as one chosen for tone, and the wrong choice either does too little or too much.
That is why we offer four peels rather than one, alongside two enhanced treatments that combine a peel with dermaplaning or Dermalux LED. The appropriate peel is selected according to your skin and your concerns rather than treating everyone the same way.
How do chemical peels work?
A solution of carefully selected acids is applied to the skin for a controlled period, breaking the bonds between surface cells so that they shed more readily than they would naturally.
As those cells clear, the skin beneath is revealed and the skin’s own renewal process is prompted. Different solutions work at different strengths and target different concerns.
Depending on the peel used, you may experience visible peeling in the days afterwards. We will tell you exactly what to expect before we begin.
Which peel is right for you?
Want more glow? — the Glow Peel, for skin that looks dull or tired.
Pigmentation or uneven tone? — the Brightening Peel.
Breakouts, oil or congestion? — the Clarifying Peel.
Fine lines or sun-damaged-looking skin? — the Age Defence Peel.
Want maximum resurfacing? — Chemical Peel + Dermaplaning.
Want a peel finished with LED? — Chemical Peel + Dermalux LED.
This is a starting point rather than a diagnosis. We confirm the right peel for your skin at your appointment.
A peel for your skin.
Chemical peels are not one-size-fits-all. Four peels and two enhanced treatments, selected according to your skin, your goals and the concern you want to address.
Glow Peel
£99A gentle resurfacing peel for skin that looks dull or tired, and for anyone wanting a fresher, brighter and more radiant-looking complexion.
Brightening Peel
£99A targeted resurfacing treatment for pigmentation and uneven skin tone, working towards a brighter and more even-looking complexion.
Clarifying Peel
£99A purifying peel for acne-prone, oily and congested skin. It addresses congestion, excess oil and clogged pores while improving the overall appearance and texture of the skin.
Age Defence Peel
£99A resurfacing peel for visible signs of ageing, including fine lines, uneven texture and skin that looks sun-damaged.
Chemical Peel + Dermaplaning
£125Dermaplaning first, then a professional peel — enhanced resurfacing for particularly smooth, fresh and radiant-looking skin.
Chemical Peel + Dermalux LED
£125A professional peel finished with Dermalux LED light therapy to soothe and calm the skin and support the rejuvenation process.
What happens in a session.
A controlled treatment, with aftercare guidance specific to the peel used.
Consult & assess
Your appointment begins here. We discuss your goals, review your medical history, assess the area and confirm the treatment is right for you.
Preparation
The skin is cleansed and prepared for treatment.
Treatment
The selected solution is applied for a controlled period, then removed and the skin is soothed.
Aftercare
We give you aftercare guidance and discuss whether a course would be worthwhile.
When will I see results?
Typical timeframes rather than a schedule. Results vary between individuals, and your own plan is agreed at your appointment.
Depending on the peel used, visible peeling can occur in the days afterwards.
The skin settles as the surface cells clear.
Changes in texture, tone and congestion become apparent.
The effect builds where peels are planned as a course.
Two enhanced peel treatments
Chemical Peel + Dermaplaning — £125. Dermaplaning is carried out first: a sterile scalpel is passed carefully across the surface of the skin to remove accumulated dead skin cells and the fine vellus hair most people call peach fuzz. With that surface cleared, the peel that follows works on a smoother, better-prepared canvas. It is the option to choose if you want particularly smooth, fresh and radiant-looking skin.
Chemical Peel + Dermalux LED — £125. A professional peel, finished with Dermalux LED light therapy. The LED stage soothes and calms the skin after the peel and supports the skin rejuvenation process. A good option if you want the resurfacing benefits of a peel alongside LED therapy.
How many treatments will I need?
Peels are often planned as a course, particularly where texture, congestion or tone are the concern, because the effect builds across repeated treatments.
The number depends on the peel selected and your skin. We agree it with you at your appointment rather than committing you to a course in advance.
What a peel can do for your skin.
What a peel achieves depends on the peel selected and on your skin. These are the changes peels are commonly used to work towards.
- Brighter-looking complexion
- Smoother skin texture
- Improved appearance of pigmentation
- More even-looking skin tone
- Helps with congestion and clogged pores
- Improves the appearance of dull skin
- Supports natural skin renewal
- Different options for different concerns
How we select your peel
This is exactly what the consultation at the start of your appointment establishes. Skin type, the concern you want to address, your history and how your skin has responded to previous treatments all shape the choice.
If we think a peel is not the right treatment for what you want to change, we will tell you and suggest what would be.
Chemical Peels prices
Individual peels are £99 per treatment. The two combination treatments are £125. Peels are often planned as a course, and course pricing is confirmed at your appointment.
Book straight in for this treatment. Your appointment begins with a consultation and suitability assessment, and where you are suitable and happy to go ahead, treatment normally takes place during the same visit. Not sure this is the right treatment for you? Message us and we will help.
Frequently asked questions
If your question is not here, ask us on WhatsApp — a real person at the clinic answers.
Will my skin visibly peel? +
It depends on the peel used. Some cause visible peeling in the days afterwards and some do not. We will tell you exactly what to expect at your appointment, before treatment starts.
How is it different from the Hydrofacial? +
A Hydrofacial cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates at the surface with no downtime. A peel uses a controlled solution to exfoliate more actively, and can involve visible peeling.
How long is the downtime? +
This varies by peel. We will be specific with you about what to plan around once we know which peel suits your skin.
How many treatments will I need? +
Peels are often planned as a course because the effect builds across repeated treatments. The number depends on the peel and your skin.
Can I have a peel before an event? +
Only with the right timing, and for some peels not at all close to an event. Tell us the date and we will advise honestly.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin? +
Peels vary in strength, so this depends on your skin and which peel is being considered. Assessment comes first.
How do I know which peel to choose? +
You do not have to decide in advance. We assess your skin, discuss what you want to address and recommend one. The four peels target different things — radiance, pigmentation, congestion and visible ageing — and the right choice depends on your skin rather than on preference alone.
What is the difference between the £99 peels and the £125 treatments? +
The £125 treatments pair a professional peel with a second treatment in the same appointment: either dermaplaning beforehand for more comprehensive resurfacing, or Dermalux LED afterwards to soothe the skin and support rejuvenation.
