Five techniques combined in a single appointment, with minimal downtime.
Five techniques, one appointment
It is a results-focused facial rather than purely a relaxing one, though most people find it very comfortable. The distinction matters: the aim is a visible difference in the skin, not simply an hour of pampering.
The strength of the treatment is in the combination. Each stage prepares the skin for the one after it, which is why the finish is different from what any of these techniques achieves on its own.
What makes it different from a standard facial?
A standard facial cleanses, exfoliates and massages. This one adds two treatments that are usually booked in their own right — dermaplaning and microneedling — and sequences them so each prepares the skin for the next.
Dermaplaning uses a sterile surgical scalpel, passed carefully across the surface of the skin at an angle. It lifts away accumulated dead skin cells and the fine vellus hair most people call peach fuzz. It is not painful — most people describe it as a light scraping sensation — and it leaves a genuinely smooth surface for everything that follows.
Microneedling follows, once the surface is clear. Very fine needles create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, which prompt its natural repair response and support the production of collagen and elastin. With the dead skin removed first, the skin is better prepared to take it.
Between the two, a lymphatic facial massage supports circulation and drainage, which is the part that helps with facial puffiness.
What happens in a session.
Six stages, grouped into three phases and delivered as one continuous treatment.
Consultation & skin assessment
We look at your skin, confirm the treatment is right for what you want to address, and check that dermaplaning and microneedling are appropriate for you.
Prepare & resurface
A thorough double cleanse removes excess dirt, oils and impurities. Dermaplaning then uses a sterile scalpel to lift away dead skin cells and fine vellus hair, leaving a smoother surface and preparing the skin for the stages that follow.
Stimulate & renew
A lymphatic facial massage supports circulation and drainage, helping to reduce facial puffiness. Microneedling follows: controlled micro-injuries encourage the skin's natural repair response and support collagen and elastin production.
Hydrate & restore
A hyaluronic acid mask replenishes hydration and helps the skin hold moisture. A finishing serum hydrates and supports the skin after treatment, and we give you aftercare guidance before you leave.
When will I see results?
Typical timeframes rather than a schedule. Results vary between individuals, and your own plan is agreed at your appointment.
Skin typically feels smoother and looks brighter as you leave. Some flushing from the microneedling is normal.
The conditioning effect settles into the skin.
Regular treatments give a more sustained difference in skin condition.
Often booked shortly before something you want to look well for.
How often should I have one?
A single treatment gives a visible result, which is why it is often booked before an event.
For a sustained difference in skin condition, regular treatments work better than occasional ones. We will suggest an interval that suits your skin.
Million Dollar Facial or Hydrofacial?
Both are multi-step facials and both give a visible result on the day.
The Hydrofacial leans towards deep cleansing and hydration, and has no downtime at all. The Million Dollar Facial adds dermaplaning and microneedling, so it does more to skin texture but can leave the skin flushed for a few hours. If you are unsure which suits your skin, we will recommend one at your appointment.
Million Dollar Facial prices
The Million Dollar Facial is £69 per treatment. Where you would like regular treatments, we will suggest a sensible interval at your appointment.
Book straight in for this treatment. Your appointment begins with a consultation and suitability assessment, and where you are suitable and happy to go ahead, treatment normally takes place during the same visit. Not sure this is the right treatment for you? Message us and we will help.
Frequently asked questions
If your question is not here, ask us on WhatsApp — a real person at the clinic answers.
Is it relaxing or is it a treatment? +
Both, but it is designed as a treatment first. Most people find it very comfortable, and the aim is a visible difference rather than just an hour of pampering.
Is there any downtime? +
Very little, but not none. The microneedling stage commonly leaves the skin flushed for a few hours, occasionally into the next day. Most people return to their day straight afterwards. We will tell you what to expect before we begin.
How is it different from the Hydrofacial? +
The Hydrofacial leans towards deep cleansing and hydration, with no downtime. The Million Dollar Facial adds dermaplaning and microneedling, so it does more to skin texture, and can leave the skin flushed for a few hours.
What is dermaplaning, and does it hurt? +
A sterile surgical scalpel is passed carefully across the surface of the skin at an angle, lifting away dead skin cells and fine vellus hair. It does not cut into the skin and it is not painful — most people describe it as a light scraping sensation.
Will the vellus hair grow back thicker? +
No. Vellus hair grows back at the same texture it was before. It is a persistent myth, but it is not how hair growth works.
Does the microneedling hurt? +
Most people find it comfortable. The needling in this facial is superficial by design — it is a facial that includes microneedling rather than a full microneedling session. If texture or scarring at depth is your main concern, Dermapen microneedling is the more appropriate treatment.
When will I see a difference? +
Straight away. Skin typically looks brighter and better conditioned as you leave.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin? +
It suits most skin types. We assess your skin first and adjust the treatment accordingly, and we will say so if dermaplaning or microneedling is not appropriate for you on the day.
How often should I have one? +
Regularly rather than occasionally if the aim is sustained skin condition.
